I had some repair work done on an old boiler by Blair and his team. They were extremely helpful, punctual and reliable, offered good advice on the pros and cons of different repair options, and did a great job on the boiler. Highly recommended.
We used ASG to replace our boiler, unvented hot water cylinder and seven radiators, install a new family bathroom, including furniture, a new bulkhead and full tiling and also to install a replacement wc, whb and furniture for our downstairs cloakroom. The workmanship was exemplary, especially by Derek, the bathroom fitter. His joinery work was better than all professional joiners we've used in other recent projects and his attention to detail is superb. He's not the quickest but the results were well worth the wait. We were in the fortunate position of having an en suite as well as the family bathroom and downstairs wc so the time taken to complete the projects was not much of a concern for us. We had very specific and detailed requirements for our projects. Blair and his team were happy to listen carefully to our needs and used their skills and experience to build on and improve on our ideas. Overall, we are delightful with the results.
Great service from start to finish.Blair and his team fitted a new boiler and radiators. Blair took time to explain every stage of the installation to us and made sure that we were happy with all aspects of the job before he asked for payment.The fitters were very professional, made a great job of fitting everything and made sure that dust etc was kept to an absolute minimum. We have also had them carry out some emergency plumbing work at our business premises and they pulled out all the stops to make sure they got to us as quickly as possible.I've had several plumbers carry out work for us in the past and most of them I wouldn't let back in my house!. However, I will definitely use ASG again and I would have no problem recommending them to family and friends.
All systems go were paid by a building contractor to complete plumbing work at our property. The work was completed, however the radiators (bought through a third party) leaked immediately. ASG were contacted directly, however because of a dispute between myself and the building contractor, ASG refused to come and all repair the work they had completed. They refused to respond to emails and phone calls, several times promising a call back that never came. Eventually I required to bring in a third party to fix the damage, as the leaking water stripped the paint work off the new radiators. The third party plumber stated the leak was due to valves not being properly installed / checked on the radiators.
I was recommended Blair from a neighbour who had used him and I can't speak highly enough about him and his staff. He is probably the most reliable tradesman I've ever encountered and genuinely puts his customers first. I had a flood and my boiler needed replaced immediately and even though he was extremely busy he managed to get everything sorted and installed within a week. I won't be using any other plumber but him in the future. My flat has now been restored to a cosy retreat!!
